spend的用法是什么：

　　1、在使用spend時(shí),主語只能是表示人的名詞或代詞。例如:

　　Andy spent a lot of money on books. Andy花了很多錢買書。

　　2、spend time/money on sth.

　　在……上花費(fèi)時(shí)間（金錢）.介詞on后接名詞或代詞。

　　例：I spent two hours on this maths problem.

　　這道數(shù)學(xué)題花了我兩個(gè)小時(shí)。

　　3、spend time/money (in) doing sth.

　　花費(fèi)時(shí)間（金錢）做某事.介詞in可以省略。

　　例：They spent two years (in) building this bridge.

　　造這座橋花了他們兩年時(shí)間。

　　4、spend money for sth.花錢買…….

　　例：His money was spent for books.

　　他的錢用來買書了。

　　另外,spend也有"度過"的意思。例如:

　　They want to spend their summer holiday in the country.
