The first thing we can do is to use cloth bags instead of plastic bags whenwe go shopping. It helps to protect the environment. The second thing we can dois to reuse(再利用) the old textbooks as possible as we can. We should also neverforget to turn off the lights when we leave the classrooms in order to ’s more, it would be better if we walk or ride a bike to school. Weshould try our best to reduce pollution and waste.
In fact, even the simplest everyday activities(日常活動(dòng)) can make a realdifference to(對(duì)…有影響) the environment. I believe we can make the world a betterplace to live in.

How to protect the environment?
Today there is more and more pollution and the environment is becomingworse and worse. So we have to know how to protect the environment. Here aresome ways.
First, we can stop driving our personal cars. We can go to school or workon foot or by bus. Not only can it protect environment, but also it is good forour health.
Second, we are not supposed to throw around litter anywhere. Instead, weshould put them into the dustbin. And it’s best to pick up the litter on theground when we see them.
Third, we should save the paper, the water, the food and so on. Fourth, weshould protect the trees and we should plant more trees.
I think if everyone does something to protect the environment, our worldwill be much better.

There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water andsoil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a slative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect theforest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. Therefore,governments are playing the most important role in the environmental protectiontoday.
In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even moreconcrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance ofenvironmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should bemade to put the
population planning policy into practice, because more people means morepeople means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy the environmentintentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know thatdestroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.

為了保護(hù)環(huán)境，各國(guó)政府做了大量的工作。采用了立法措施控制大氣污染，保護(hù)森林資源和海洋資源，制止任何環(huán)境污染。因此，在當(dāng)今的環(huán)保中政府起著最重要的作用。
我的看法是，為了保護(hù)環(huán)境，政府應(yīng)當(dāng)采取更具體的措施。首先，應(yīng)當(dāng)通過教育的方法使人們充分謒到環(huán)境保護(hù)的重要性。第二，應(yīng)更加努力把計(jì)劃生育政策付諸實(shí)施，因?yàn)槿丝诙嗑鸵馕吨廴緡?yán)重。最后，要嚴(yán)懲那些故意破壞環(huán)境者。使他們破壞環(huán)境就是毀滅人類自己。

Plant human cells, if itdamaged, destroyed nature organizations, to the eradication of efore, the environment must be linked with social ethics, charactereducation and practice acts as an important element of it. Everyone must fulfilits responsibilities and obligations to protect the environment.

Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order toimprove his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered manyphysical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies intofarms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes orhydroelectric power. Man has also modified the face of the earth by drainingmarshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.
However, man's changes to the physical environment have not always hadbeneficial results. Today, pollution of the air and water is an increasingdanger to the health of the planet. Each day thousands of tons of gases come outof the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air ofindustrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. The pollutionof water is equally harmful. The whole ecological balance of the sea is beingchanged and industrial wastes have already made many rivers lifeless.
Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before. As we know,massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and evenposes a great threat to man's existence. Indifference to these problems willmean committing suicide. Therefore, effective measures should be taken and lawspassed to conserve environment. Otherwise,man is certain to suffer from theserious consequences caused by this lack of care for his livingsurroundings.
