文：漸行漸遠的記憶
很多年以后，依稀記得那個冬天的一個下午，太陽十分慵懶，一如這個以慢節(jié)奏而著稱的城市。祥和、靜寂的氣氛夾雜著幾分淡淡的哀傷，窗外細枊無力地搖曳著。
世界上最可怕的是什么？夢想的破滅？青春的逝去？生命的終結(jié)……Shakespeare撕下一張又一張的稿紙，那支臟兮兮的鵝毛筆時而游曳于白紙上，時而停頓在半空……導(dǎo)演把鏡頭對準了Shakespeare緊鎖的眉頭和一張張被丟棄的廢紙……何謂靈感？靈感無非是一種觸動。當這位倫敦劇場界的新星失去其寫作的靈感，無法再次觸動塵封的心靈，這一切遠比死亡來得可怕。
并不華麗的場景卻真實地再現(xiàn)16世紀的倫敦鬧市，跟隨著主人翁的步伐，我們來到了劇場，這里正在招聘演員，男女主角的第一次見面就在這里發(fā)生。中國有句古話：冥冥之中，定有天意。Viola正是那位Shakespeare所需的能激發(fā)其靈感的女神，年輕的Shakespeare敏銳的感覺讓他發(fā)現(xiàn)了 Viola是個漂亮的女孩，接著如同那些愛情小說里描寫的一樣，他們墜入了愛河。這時候Shakespeare的靈感如泉涌，并將他們的愛情付諸成文字， Viola成為他生命中的Juliet，而他這個Romeo也找到生存的意義。
如同眾多的愛情悲劇小說里的情形一樣，他們的愛情被殘酷的現(xiàn)實所阻撓：Viola必須嫁給Wisher爵士，這是Victoria女王所欽定的，并且 Shakespeare早已成婚。在一場身分混淆、錯綜復(fù)雜的烏龍鬧劇中，大吃干醋的未婚夫和未婚妻的情人決斗，私定終身的情侶偷偷調(diào)情，而年輕的 Shakespeare不但得為他的.劇本想出完美的結(jié)局，也得為他自己的愛情找到快樂的結(jié)局。
