the first group of people quote the old saying “health is above wealth” to prove their idea. they argue that, on the one hand, a strong person can do almost anything as long as he/she tries hard. on the other hand, however, rich people will not be able to enjoy the wealth if their days are numbered,in contrast, the advocates of wealth have such arguments as follows. for one thing, wealthy people will be able to buy more healthful foods. for another, they can enjoy better facilities to improve their health. (take my neighbor, lao wang, as an example. he had a heart attack and is in hospital. however, he cannot afford the expensive operation, which costs as much as 100,000 yuan. therefore, he has to lie in bed hopelessly. if he were a rich man, his life could be saved.) Some friendly relationships can be kept on argument and discussion，but it is usual for close friends to have similar ideas and beliefs，to have attitudes and interests in men ---they often talk about being on the same wavelength .it generally takes time to reach this point.And the more intimately involved people bee，the more they rely on one another .people want to do friends favours and hate to break a promise.Equally，friends have to learn to put up with annoying habits and try to tolerate differencesof opinion.wWw.xiNgkoo.coMIn contrast with marriage ，there are no friendship ceremonies to strengthen the association between two persons.But the supporting and understanding of each other that results from shared experiences and emotions does seem to a powerful bond ，which can overe differences in background ，and break down barriers of age， class or race.
