寒假，我讀了《百萬(wàn)英鎊》這本書(shū)，使我明白了更多金錢(qián)的意義。
故事講述了兩位富翁利用一位流落倫敦的窮人——亨利·亞當(dāng)打賭，從而使亨利得到了一張五百萬(wàn)英鎊的支票。他去了一家飯店，老板見(jiàn)他是個(gè)窮光蛋，就讓他坐到角落里，可當(dāng)他付錢(qián)的時(shí)候，老板驚呆了，老板無(wú)法找錢(qián)，就讓他免費(fèi)吃了一頓飯。態(tài)度也變好了，他又去服裝店，小店員給他了一件別人不要穿的又特難看的衣服，可當(dāng)他拿出支票時(shí)，小店員懊悔極了。老板知道后，免費(fèi)給他量身定做了許多在各種場(chǎng)合穿的.衣服。之后他不僅把英鎊還給了富翁，自己也有很多錢(qián)，有車(chē)有房還有一個(gè)愛(ài)他的妻子。
當(dāng)今社會(huì)，錢(qián)成了衡量一切的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。這個(gè)故事充分對(duì)比說(shuō)明了我們面對(duì)有錢(qián)人和面對(duì)窮人的不同，世界不是應(yīng)該人人平等的嗎？我們說(shuō)得到但做不到，這不是可恥的行為嗎？不管我們?nèi)绾螑?ài)錢(qián)都不能失去良知和善良的本性。有些人為了得到錢(qián)不惜一切手段，更有可怕的為了得到遺產(chǎn)不惜殘害自己的親人，把自己的女兒違心嫁給有錢(qián)人等等。更為可怕的是大部分醫(yī)生為了回扣給一些有錢(qián)人吃不必要的藥 ，見(jiàn)到?jīng)]錢(qián)的人，不管多嚴(yán)重的病都視而不見(jiàn)，喪失了良知，在他們眼里錢(qián)比任何東西都重要。
我們想得到錢(qián)，就應(yīng)該用正常的途徑去獲得。
金錢(qián)并不是至高無(wú)上的！
