　　All means of modern life have failed,and all Chuck must learn from scratch.From how to pry open coconuts for water,how to catch crabs and fish,to how to drill wood for fire,build houses and build ships.During Chucks four years on the island,he not only had to endure extreme material scarcity,but also spiritual loneliness.So he found himself a friend,"Wilson" - a volleyball with a face painted on it.He also thought about suicide,but in the end,he survived relying on his own beliefs.

　　For Chuck,he has at least two sources of belief.One is his girlfriend - Kelly,he must go back to see her;Another task he gave himself was to deliver the package.It was these two spiritual pillars that gave him the courage to live and strengthened his belief in continuing to breathe.Its not difficult to understand his last message when delivering the package: This package saved my life.If a person is at a low point without a firm belief to guide them,it is easy to lose confidence in life.On the contrary,with this firm belief,people have the courage to burn their boats and overcome difficulties.

　　Until Chuck returned to Ming society and learned that his former girlfriend Kelly had already married,I seemed to hear his heartbroken voice.Chuck only has one last belief left,which is to send the package back to its place of belonging.He stood at the crossroads again for the last time,looking in the direction where the package owner was leaving.I think this should be the beginning of another belief for Chuck,at least a sprout of hope.

　　We all need faith,no matter what we do.
