本次世界肝炎日的主要目的就是提高公眾對(duì)病毒性性肝炎(包括乙肝和丙肝)的認(rèn)知，了解病毒性肝炎對(duì)公眾健康的威脅。“我是第十二個(gè)嗎?(AmInumber12?)”是第一屆世界肝炎日的主題，意指全球大約12個(gè)人中就有一個(gè)是慢性病毒性肝炎患者(包括乙肝和丙肝)，這些人很可能就在你我的身邊，而并未能得到及時(shí)的診斷。
