中考英語作文:Should We Help Strangers? 1
Recently our class had a discussion about whether we should help strangers.Different students have different opinions.
Some think we should try to help strangers. Helping others is a virtue, and helping others is helping ourselves. We may come across some trouble and need others help some day.If everyone isnt willing to help us just because we are strangers to them, its hard to imagine what our world will be like.
However, some are afraid that helping others can sometimes bring us trouble.Sometimes we are just misunderstood and even have to pay the cost of kindness.
In my opinion,we should try our best to help others when they are in need of help, but we should also protect ourselves from getting into trouble. If everyone tries a little kindness, our world will be full of love.

In our daily life, most of us have the experience of helping strangers, like giving directions to a lost boy or giving our seats to an elderly lady on a bus.
What a great feeling it is to see a smile on others’ faces!
As an old saying goes, “Give roses to others and the lasting fragrance will remain in your hand.”
Therefore, it is necessary to help others.
However, nowadays professional cheats tend to take advantages of kind, helpful and warm-hearted people.
For instance, once my grandma gave some money without hesitation to a ‘beggar’ dressed in rags, who lay on the street hoping to be pitied.
But the next week, he was seen to have big dinners in restaurants and hotels.
Being generous to them may bring you not pleasure but regret and anger.
To sum up, we should be ready to help others because it makes us feel better and makes our society more harmonious.
When it comes to strangers, we should be cautious in case we may put ourselves into trouble by helping them.
中考英語作文:Should We Help Strangers? 3
In recent years, a strange phenomenon has occurred in our country-people are very cautious of helping others, especially helping strangers, because a few people are getting involved in trouble when helping others. Thus, a number of people have no idea whether they should help strangers or not.
As far as I am concerned, we should help strangers in an appropriate way. Firstly, helping others is our traditional virtue and we have been taught to be glad to help others all the time. Hence, we should develop this virtue as much as possible in view of making a harmonious society. Secondly, helping others is helping ourselves in some ways. Just imagine the situation when we are getting into trouble but no one is reluctant to lend a hand to us. Therefore, we should put ourselves in others’ shoes and be glad to help others.
However, in order to avoid involving in unnecessary trouble when helping others, it would be better for us to choose a reasonable way. For example, to help a child who was falling into river, seeking others’help rather than jumping into the river if you cannot swim at all.

It is well known that the topic that whether we should help strangers when they get into trouble has attracted many persons attention. Whats more, the opinion differs from one person to another.
First of all, some persons hold this view that ready to help others is the traditional virtue of China and we should help strangers when they are in trouble. However, there as well are some people who think that coming to strangers aid could cause great harm to ourselves and as a result of this, we shouldnt help strangers. Despite these are facts, in my view, there is no doubt that we should help strangers in good time. All of us need a hand once sometimes, if we dont help others, how can expect others to help us. So there is great need for us to help strangers who are in the soup.
In a word, we should adhere to our moral code firmly. And we should give aid to strangers when they need help. Only in this way can our world become more harmonious.

One evening, it was pouring heavily. I was waiting for the train at the station alone when a man walked towards me in the rain. He was drenched in the rain all over, and his expression looked a bit flustered.
At that time, I was the only one at the station, and I felt a bit scared. Suddenly, he spoke to me and said, "Little brother, do you have any money on you? Can you lend me some money?" Upon hearing this, I felt flustered and my heart raced, unsure of what to do for a moment. He saw me looking panicked and apologetically said to me, "Im sorry for startling you. Im really sorry." Only then did I slowly recover from my panic. Then he told me that he had lost his wallet, along with his bus card, and now he was penniless, so he had to resort to borrowing money from someone to go home.
As the saying goes, "Helping others is the foundation of happiness." When I heard him say this and saw how miserable his situation was, I didnt hesitate to take out all the change from his wallet and hand it to him. Although he only had three yuan, he repeatedly thanked me like a treasure and asked for a phone number, saying that he could personally repay my money in the future, but I refused his request. I was originally based on the idea of "being enthusiastic about helping others", let alone just a little money, why bother!
At this moment, a bus arrived at the station. I waved goodbye to him and immediately got on the bus. Its still raining heavily outside, with a cool feeling, but my heart is warm!

The teacher once said, dont talk to strangers casually, and be wary of strangers causing harm to yourself. Although I say so, the stranger I am going to talk about now has not caused me any harm, but has brought me help.
At noon that day, as soon as school was over, I went to unlock my bike. I didnt expect it to fall off the chain. I was so angry that I kept muttering, "Who is so wicked? He made my bike look like this." I looked around to see who could help me. I saw You Mengping by the school gate, and I hurriedly pushed her bike to her place. She said, "She doesnt know how to do it either. Sigh, I looked at the bike that had fallen off the chain with a sigh.". At that moment, a stranger wearing an orange shirt walked over and saw my bike. He said, "Oh, its broken." He quickly took out the key and helped me repair my bike. In a few minutes, he fixed it. His appearance solved my urgent need. I really appreciate him. Now its great, I dont have to push back anymore. I quickly said to him, "Thank you." After hearing this, he seemed to be happy in his heart, with a sunny smile on his face. He said to me, "You dont need to thank me." Before I left, I said goodbye to him, and then he smiled and waved at me. He did not ask me for any compensation. I dont think he is a bad person. Do you think someone like him is a bad person?
I hope good people in this society will always be there!

One afternoon, the sun was like a hot ball, burning the earth so hot that no water could be seen.
Suddenly, a loud noise came into my ears. "Who is that annoying? I cant let anyone play games!" I impatiently crawled out of bed and murmured. I opened the window and took a closer look. It turned out to be a cleaner arguing with that stranger! The cleaner was rowing a rudimentary small boat with dirty and foul smelling garbage on it. The stench pricked my nose and I couldnt say a word for a long time. The cleaner was wearing a yellow work uniform and was already getting old, with mostly white hair. The young man across from him was wearing designer clothes, smoking a cigarette with his hand in his pocket. The cleaner loudly questioned the stranger, "Why are you throwing garbage into the river? Im sweating all over here in the hot weather. If it were you, how would you feel?" The stranger said arrogantly, "Whats wrong? Im garbage, so whats wrong? You despicable cleaner, how dare you question me? Be careful, Ill put you in prison!" The cleaner was speechless for a moment and had to swallow his breath and row away.
I watched this scene and thought to myself: Why is this person like this? Since he is an official, he needs to consider others even more. That cleaner is not easy to pick up garbage in hot weather, but he even adds fuel to the fire. There are really everyone in the world!

On a summer day, the sun was bright, birds were singing and flowers were fragrant, blowing a cool breeze. Today, I was riding my bike towards home. On the wide path, I was singing a tune and leisurely riding on my bike. Gradually, I expanded from one person to a dozen or so people. Among these dozen or so people, I was the only one riding a bicycle, standing out among the crowd. I was a bit proud, and while I was enjoying my pride, two little boys riding bicycles also joined in, breaking the pride I was only enjoying.
In order to let them know that I could ride a bicycle with one hand, I put one hand down from the front of the bike and patted the two boys with my hand. However, I couldnt bear it. Before I could even hit the boy, the bike fell down and I fell heavily. My hand was broken by a stone and bled a lot. An uncle next to me saw this and quickly ran over, asking, "Have you been injured? Does it hurt?" I nodded and he helped me up. Carrying my back, I walked step by step towards the hospital. On the way, I saw my uncles face dripping with beads of sweat as big as soybeans. Although we were blowing the breeze, we still couldnt relieve our heat. On my uncles back, I felt the truth between people. When I arrived at the hospital, the doctor bandaged me with gauze, and he paid for all the medical expenses. At that time, I was extremely grateful.
When I returned home, my mother saw that my hand was still a little bleeding and asked me what was wrong. I told my mother everything I had on the way, and we were all very grateful to this uncle. Thank you! Uncle! Although we only have one face, you are like one of my relatives.

Grass will awaken from spring rain; Willows will become greener due to the spring breeze; Flowers will bloom in spring; And we will thrive due to care from all aspects of society
I still remember it was last winter, on a cold evening when it was gradually getting dark. I jumped out of the car and just realized that my dad was missing! I covered my mouth and chuckled, thinking that my dad, who loves to joke, had gone to a hidden place again. "Hey dad, could you try a different way of playing? Dont keep hiding, Im tired of playing!" I shouted to the bustling crowd, wanting dad to come out quickly. But no one paid attention to me, it just attracted some surprised looks from strangers. My face suddenly became hot and spicy. "Dad, come out quickly!" I was a bit angry. But no one has paid attention to me yet. "Dad, dad?" I frowned, feeling a bit scared and couldnt help but walk towards the crowd, trying to find my dad. In the cold wind, facing the crowded crowd, I felt very lonely and helpless. Suddenly, tears filled my eyes because I remembered - my dad seemed to have fallen asleep on the 337 bus. That means my dad got lost, so I cant go home either!
Ive been looking for my dad everywhere, I dont know if hes anxiously looking for me now. At this moment, I suddenly thought of the phone my mother just bought me a few days ago. But the phone is in the backpack, and the backpack is with dad.
