旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇1
Currently, campuses of famous universities have become one of the popular tourist destinations. The phenomenon has aroused great public concern. There is no consensus (一致,共識(shí)) of opinions among people as to whether the university campus should be open to tourists.
Some argue that tourists should be denied access to the campus. After all, they believe, the Ivory Tower is not a park but a holy place reserved for college students. Tourists may distract students from their study. But others hold the opposing view that the revenues from campus tour may at least ease the university’s financial burden and be necessary for university’s maintenance and infrastructure(基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施).
If asked to voice my view on this, I favor the latter group of people. Whether campus tour brings profits or not, it should not be banned as long as tourists obey campus regulations. And I am convinced that campus tour are sure to do good to the popularization of university cultures.

旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇3
Last August my parents and I went to Europe for a visit. We had a wonderful time there.
It took us about ten hours to fly from Beijing to Budapest, Hungary. And then we visited France, Germany, Italy and other countries. Europe was really beautiful.
The sky was blue, and the sunshine was bright. There were not so many tall buildings there as we had expected. Most of the people there were polite and friendly.
I was glad that when I spoke a little English, they all understood. After we stayed there for half a month, I began to miss my hometown. I couldn't live there for a whole life, though it was beautiful.
I was so excited that I woke up at four o 'clock in the morning. I went to sleep for a while, and then I couldn't sleep anymore, so I woke up my parents and put my luggage in order. The rushed taxi ride to shekou pier, confluence with others. Soon, we will take a ship to Hong Kong international airport.
Hong Kong international airport was built on lantau island and soon got to airport departure place, nearly more than one hour before departure time, tour guide will let you free for a while, at ten o 'clock twenty, we boarded the plane on time.
The flight time from Hong Kong to Osaka, Japan, is about four hours, and there is plenty of time to rest. Journey are going well, but as the plane is about to land, also is the final half hour of time, particularly high pressure, plus the day before suddenly a cold have a fever, so there will be a serious headache and tinnitus, that period of time, very afflictive, life is death, feelings can't describe.
Luckily, it was just a small incident that didn't affect my interest. The plane, followed by the tour guide into the Japanese customs, soon to us, far away, can see the machine that can leave fingerprints and the machine that can take pictures. We didn't know what the two machines were going to do until we arrived.
It turns out that adults will be asked to click on a machine that leaves a fingerprint, leave a fingerprint, and take a photo to remember. Of course, this is the first photo we have come to Japan.
After customs, our bus is not coming, so we took a few at the information desk this brochure about Japan, one of Japan, China, South Korea, English language, is Japan's scenery, traditional festival... The first time I saw so many interesting Japanese, I found that as long as one of them was in Chinese, according to the traditional Chinese characters, it was said that it was a Japanese name and a pseudonym. The main meaning of this article or probably what it is about.
Then, looking up, you can see a big sign: north, a question mark over the north. Originally, this is the meaning of the information office in Japan. As if to say, "if you can't find the north, come to the information desk." It's kind of interesting.
After a while, the bus came and we went on. I found that the driver was a standard Japanese person, probably used to be a young man driving, so I was surprised to find that this driver was an old man.
All the way up to the first stop of the tour -- Osaka park, Osaka park has an ancient Japanese general (second only to the emperor!). Hideyoshi's castle (the Japanese architecture is beautiful and beautiful, and if you haven't, it's really worth seeing.) Besides, there are many beautiful ginkgo trees in the park.
The leaves of ginkgo biloba are very special and yellow, and they fall to the ground in the wind. I was a little tired, and I sat on a bench near a ginkgo tree in the park. Look at these ginkgo ginkgo, pick up a piece casually, put this gingko folder in the book, imagine to go back to shenzhen to see these small pieces of ginkgo, will be how pleasantly surprised. Perhaps because Japan is one hour earlier than China, winter is very cold, and it gets dark very early, four or five past, basically, the sky is completely dark, my nose almost froze.
After seeing the Osaka park, we drove to the hotel immediately, and we were already frozen. As soon as we entered the hotel, our body began to warm up, so we didn't want to leave the hotel for ever. After sitting in the lobby for a while, the guide had completed all the check-in procedures and handed the keys to everyone. When the elevator arrived, we couldn't go in all together, because there were so many people, and it was divided into two batches, and my parents and I were assigned to the second batch. I was reluctant, because I was so tired that I couldn't stand.
As soon as I entered the room, I almost cried, the hotel in Japan is too small! Or two little beds, my father and mother, three big fat people, how to squeeze under! The toilet is integral, very small, but very clean, I heard that the Japanese people are very clean, I would be very much in favor, because I haven't seen a piece of garbage since I just entered Japan.
What's more, Japan's toilet: there are hot plates, warm up, the facilities for the PP, some of the drying. Later, the tour guide told us the story of the five generations of toilet, originally, the Japanese people who did things to improve the design of the toilet according to their living habits.
Then you're free to go out for dinner! We have not been to Japan and are very strange to it. So even if you go out for a meal, you'll be afraid to go wrong. Finally we found the Osaka district heart shinsaibashi, had arrived at the first dinner in Japan, one is called "zhu" noodle, noodle shop is small is very delicate, I ate a bowl of Fried rice, rice special incense, in a restaurant to eat Fried rice more delicious than shenzhen! I always advise, "let's go eat pig (zhu)!" . Then we went to dotonbori and had some famous snacks: the cuttlefish balls and the charcoal crab nippers (it's said to be fresh sea crab from Hokkaido, and the crab meat is really sweet.)
When we sit light rail to go out to eat and run into an interesting thing: in the light, very not easy to find a few cars, me, mom and dad, uncle, there are also several counterparts in the car sit down. After a while, my father and uncle fellow were those of women in this carriage looked at them and see them all down hair, then have an uncle found the car is pink, and - in addition to my father and uncles, other are all women. Then a crucial one was found in front of the door of the carriage, which read: women-only carriages! The uncle told his father about the discovery, and they were frightened by themselves.
As soon as they stopped, they ran off to another carriage. Until now, that was funny.
About ten o 'clock we came back to the hotel, tired and tired, and finally we could lie down and have a good night's sleep!
This is the first day of arrival in Japan.

旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇6
Last summer, my family and I went to Hawaii for a holiday!
We flew across the Pacific to the tiny island from Beijing.
After we booked into a hotel, we rested.
Our fun started the next day and lasted for two long weeks.
During our time there, we ate delicious exotic food and drank numerous fruit juices.
The Hawaiians are very proud of their unique food, often 'spiced up' with slices of juicy pineapple and strings of delicious cheese.
There were also fantastic beaches right accoss the tiny atoll.
The water was sparkling blue and the sand dunes radiated with an inviting warmth of gold.
The place was wonderful and the locals were really nice; I really enjoyed my holiday.
旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇7
Today we set foot in a fascinating place - Barnard primary school in the holy land of Argo.
As soon as I got off the bus, a gentle breeze swept through the primary school, which was full of flowers and trees. Although it was winter, I felt that the four seasons were like spring. Then a man in a suit came over. He was very kind, and he was the principal of the elementary school. He waved kindly to us, and he led us into the learning paradise. As I entered the classroom, a joyful song echoed around my ears, and the dancing of passion was accompanied by a flexible body, which was very impressive! Then we walked into the school's long corridor, although it was in the United States, and did not celebrate the Spring Festival customs, but in the long corridor, the classroom still lights up the lanterns, welcomed the new spring. There, we met many new friends, and we met one-on-one, and the joy of our hearts was like a torrent of water.
Time at the moment our always stop, and at the moment our slip away, we must have to leave the intoxicating campus, I love love will not give up to looking at the campus behind him, want to have this wonderful memories forever treasure.

旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇9
My sister and I sat on the expedition, and began to move forward. The ship went ahead with the speed of the water. Suddenly, the ship turned a corner, and entered a dark cave. There was no five fingers in it, and there was a terrible bats calling. Our boat went up, seven or eight meters high, and after the peak, it dived down and splashed four or five meters high. The ship continued to advance, the deep hole, the faint light, countless flickering huge monster. When the ship approached, we were both surprised to find that there were many vivid dinosaurs. If you don't look at it carefully, you really need to be scared. All these dinosaurs with a bloody mouth, it looks terrible. To speed up the flow, a sharp turn, we went to "the ape world", in the dense forest, human ancestors can see vivid figure. Some of them were sitting on the grass, looking around a round thing, some hanging on the tree, and washing their feet and washing their feet on the water. Suddenly, a huge crab was lying on the surface of the water, blocking our way. The smart sister shrunk his head and just passed, I also tried it down, but no, I just squatted at the bottom of the cabin, hey, it was really successful.
Just through an obstacle, the water stopped, and we had to use the ship's pulp. My sister and I worked together and scratched. After about 20 minutes, we finally arrived at the end of the exciting and interesting adventure tour.
旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇10
It was a simple choice: Mt. Emei and Leshan Grand Buddha: Route B, VIP ticket, a bus tour to two of China''s World Natural Heritage Sites, described in a few brief words in a brochure and often overlooked by vacationers on a rush through Chengdu to Tibet, Yunnan or the 3 Gorges. The tour is escorted by a well-informed Chinese speaking guide, who is like a wind-up doll: once started is guaranteed to talk non-stop for at least 30 minutes. Language could be a problem, but chances are someone on board is bilingual, so it''s possible to sneak away to take pictures and get a 30 seconds summary afterwards.
Early Saturday, the mini-bus rolls towards Leshan down the speedy expressway. The passing scenery is of miles of mus (an area measure of 1/6 acre) of rice paddies, sweet corn and lotus, dotted with the book-learned image of bent, barefoot peasants in straw hats at work with a water buffalo.
First visit to a Buddhist temple" It''s important to keep the red-shoed site-guide in sight. A leisurely climb up a broad, stone stairway leads to busy Lingyun Temple and Lingbao Pagoda. Unconditioned calves scream later, because the walk goes twice up and twice down at 35 degrees, Celsius and slope, over the same 75 metres of elevation. Of interest are the sequencing of buildings, the triad grouping of carved icons along with their distinguished arhat followers, (i.e. the amusing ear-picker) and collections of mini-statues. Devout adherents may be burning incense, kneeling on cushions and bowing. For them, the visit is spiritual. (It is permitted to participate as a one day Buddhist.)
Across the cliff top, Dafo, the tallest Buddha in the world, appears head first. The curly locks were reset in the last five years; the wrinkled face smoothed and redone with weatherproof make-up. If without a camera, a pose and a fee of 15 yuan will develop a Polaroid keepsake. The narrow, shaded Stairs of the Nine Turns descend past shapely biceps to fine hands and perfect fingernails, resting on dimpled knees, beside well-proportioned legs to well-spaced toes. Gender equality is not an issue as Dafo''s old body is neither robed nor nude. Looking up, Dafo is neither handsome nor pretty, but is, without a doubt, unforgettable. Carved out of the sandstone cliff in the 8th century, the mission was to offer safety over the currentsswhereswaters of three rivers swirled together and "swallowed boats" (It has been a long prayer.)
After a better life? This tour offers reassurance. For harmony, a female stands on the black part of the yinyang circle; if male, on the white. A quick rinse of hands and face and a push on the rotating yinyang stone at the water fountain add more balance. To gain merit and enhance karma, pay120 yuan for a sheaf of incense, set alight, bow three times and tosssintosthe flaming cauldron. A scheduled stop offers a Chinese lecture on Chinese herbal medicine. If purchasing, no-one says the same remedies will be one third the price the next day at booths on Mount Emei (Emeishan) from which they''re harvested.
An early, sunny morning start for Mount Emei promises a day to commune with nature. A European-made cable-car drops visitors and pink-jacketed guides 8 minutes later at the foot of 900 steps up to the beautiful, restful Wannian Temple, swheresincense is cheap and the strong scent and flower gardens are pleasant.
A soft rub on an orbed bridge pediment assures a longer life. Inside dimly-lit chambers shine gilded statues, larger than life, surrounded by thousands of miniatures. A smooth stroke to the back leg of a sculpted elephant carrying a smug Buddha on a gilded lotus, will relieve pain. A toad, alone in its pond, responds to clapping hands with a croak. From this serene monk''s complex, attributed to pilgrims from India in the eighth century, it''s all downhill through temperate, sweat-producing, rainforest.
En route, any aerie views are usually shrouded in mist. One hour of the twisty descent is over 3 kilometres of slippery steps. The intrepid or infirm can become easy riders in bamboo sling chairs, suspended between the shoulders of two skinny five-footers. The break at a waterfall and Qingyin pavilion is welcome and a place to decide whether to take the 90 minute round-trip detour to feed and fight off the hungry monkeys.
The hike is fine for the thousands of fit Chinese and few youthful backpackers, but for the rare ex-pat soft adventurers, a rest is preferred. It is another 3 kms further along a paved pathway under the eyes of curious stall vendors to the terminus, swheresa satisfying Sichuan luncheon is served before the fast return to Chengdu.
