上周二的晚上，我在臥室寫英語(yǔ)作業(yè)。
寫完英語(yǔ)作業(yè)，我就讓媽媽上樓來(lái)檢查。但是卻隨手把英語(yǔ)書放到書桌下的抽屜里了。因?yàn)橛⒄Z(yǔ)書被我在學(xué)校涂涂抹抹，弄得破爛不堪了。所以我不敢讓媽媽看到，如果媽媽看見了不堪入目的英語(yǔ)書，非揍我一頓不可！
檢查完英語(yǔ)作業(yè)，我把英語(yǔ)作業(yè)本往書包里一放，就睡覺去了�？墒�，英語(yǔ)書還躺在抽屜里呢！
第二天下午到了學(xué)校，上英語(yǔ)課的時(shí)候，英語(yǔ)老師說(shuō)：“同學(xué)們，把英語(yǔ)書拿出來(lái)，我們復(fù)習(xí)一下昨天學(xué)習(xí)的單詞�！蔽揖偷皖^去找英語(yǔ)書。
我先在課桌里找，沒找到，不由緊張了起來(lái)。然后，趕緊翻書包，還是沒找到，于是就更緊張了。第三次找的時(shí)候，我把書包和抽屜翻了個(gè)底朝天，竟然還是沒找到。此時(shí)此刻，我的`心情既緊張又害怕。，小心臟咚咚咚直跳。同桌見我沒拿英語(yǔ)書，趕緊把自己的書移到中間和我一起看。我很感激同桌，但是心里還是七上八下的:英語(yǔ)書不在學(xué)校，難道在家里？
回到家，我著著急忙慌地對(duì)奶奶說(shuō)：“奶奶，我的英語(yǔ)書不見了�！蹦棠叹团阄业綍�，準(zhǔn)備買一本回家�？墒菚觋P(guān)門了，我悶悶不樂地和奶奶回了家。
第三天，我在書桌上寫作業(yè)，覺得很無(wú)聊，就想看看書，結(jié)果卻在抽屜里發(fā)現(xiàn)了英語(yǔ)書。心想：英語(yǔ)書又沒有長(zhǎng)腿，他怎么就跑到書桌的抽屜里去了呢？經(jīng)過(guò)一番苦苦地思索，才記起來(lái)：原來(lái)是我自己健忘，忘記把英語(yǔ)書裝進(jìn)書包里了��！
英語(yǔ)書就這樣失而復(fù)得了，以后我可要堅(jiān)決改掉粗心健忘這個(gè)毛病。

They were all things just for mary, no longer little like linda, and not yet big like jane.
