Protestant settlers brought the custom of a sunrise service, a religious gathering at dawn, to the United States. On Easter Sunday children wake up to find that the Easter Bunny has left them baskets of candy. He has also hidden the eggs that they decorated earlier that week. Children hunt for the eggs all around the house. Neighborhoods and organizations hold Easter egg hunts, and the child who finds the most eggs wins a prize. The Easter Bunny is a rabbit-spirit. Long ago, he was called the Easter Hare. Hares and rabbits have frequent multiple births so they became a symbol of fertility. The custom of an Easter egg hunt began because children believed that hares laid eggs in the grass. The Romans believed that All life comes from an egg. 從前，我不喜歡英語(yǔ)甚至厭惡英語(yǔ)，但從三年級(jí)開(kāi)始，也就是從信老師教我們班英語(yǔ)課，我就漸漸喜歡上了英語(yǔ)，發(fā)現(xiàn)英語(yǔ)是一門很有趣的課程。
以前學(xué)英語(yǔ)最怕記單詞，從來(lái)都是死記硬背，但是信老師能夠用各種各樣的方法讓我們記住每個(gè)單詞。比如“strong”念“死壯”，意思是強(qiáng)壯，信老師為了讓我們記住它，說(shuō)：“這個(gè)人‘死’都要強(qiáng) ‘壯’，能不強(qiáng)壯嗎？所以‘強(qiáng)壯’用英語(yǔ)念做‘死狀’”。雖然引來(lái)我們一陣大笑，但“strong”這個(gè)單詞被我們永遠(yuǎn)的.記住了。
在學(xué)習(xí)“but”這個(gè)單詞時(shí)，信老師先在黑板上復(fù)習(xí)以前學(xué)過(guò)的單詞“bus”，帶領(lǐng)同學(xué)們念一遍，然后將“bus”中的“s”改為“t”，讓同學(xué)們自己試著讀，同學(xué)們很快就讀出了正確讀音，同樣深深記 在腦海中。
