　　今天是植樹節(jié)。我們居住的社區(qū)要求小區(qū)居民都來參加植樹活動。

　　下午，在居委會王主任的帶領下，我們家也帶著鐵鍬來到社區(qū)旁的一塊空地上，參加植樹活動。王主任給我們講了挖樹坑的標準和應注意的問題。勞動就開始了，頓時，場地上出現(xiàn)了一派熱火朝天的景象。大人孩子齊上陣，連老年人干勁兒都很足。大家七手八腳忙活起來，有的搬磚頭瓦塊，有的`清理雜物，有的運送樹苗，有的挖樹坑……我們的小社區(qū)還從來沒有這樣熱鬧過呢！

　　我和媽媽領到了一個牌子，據(jù)說植樹結束后，可以在上面寫字留念。我們選定了一個地方，我從坑里邊挖了很多土，把土裝在筐子里給了媽媽，媽媽再把土放到一邊。我在挖土時，才切身感到了種植員的辛苦，挖不了多久，就腰酸腿疼的了。我想：種植員為什么不怕苦呢？也許是因為勞動也是一種快樂吧！為了看到自己的勞動成果——那棵迎風茁壯成長的小樹，我又加勁干了起來。

　　我和媽媽繼續(xù)挖著，挖了幾筐土的坑才能放下樹苗，我終于明白“根深蒂固”的意思了，小樹的根真的深深扎在土里。王主任對大家說，我們的小區(qū)居民就像這小樹一樣，大家的家在社區(qū)里面，就好像小樹的根扎在土地里。我們要愛護我們的小社區(qū)，每個人都出一份力，這樣我們的家才會更好。
