一.本周教學(xué)內(nèi)容：

too… to…太…不能…
far在這里起強(qiáng)調(diào)作用，表示“很，非常”
e.g. she is far too tired to walk on.
2. then i’ll have lunch and a little sleep between 2 and 7.接著我吃午飯，然后在2點(diǎn)到7點(diǎn)之間小睡一會兒。
sleep在句中做名詞，表示‘睡眠’，a sleep表示‘一段時間的睡眠’。
e.g. i don’t have enough sleep.
3. a dog’s work is never done.狗的活兒從來都干不完。
be done被動語態(tài)，“被干完”。
e.g. the cars are made in shanghai.

a distance一個遠(yuǎn)的地方，一個遠(yuǎn)處。 distance，名詞，表示“遠(yuǎn)處”。
reading
1. a weekly round-up of what is happening in sport, with lots of up-to-date information.綜述一周體育事件，為你提供大量的最新體壇動態(tài)。
weekly每周一次的
e.g. a weekly magazine
they are doing the weekly cleaning.
up-to-date最新的，其反義詞是out of date.
e.g. the book is up-to-date.
this ticket is out of date.
2. there are also a number of interviews with the famous football players.還有許多對著名球員的采訪。
a number of “許多，大量”，修飾可數(shù)名詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式，相當(dāng)于many，動詞用復(fù)數(shù)。
e.g. a number of students are playing on the playground.
the number of …的數(shù)量，動詞用單數(shù)。
e.g. the number of students in our class is 42.
now the number of the traffic accidents is increasing.
3. this year’s beijing music awards will be covered live.本年度北京音樂頒獎大會將進(jìn)行實(shí)況轉(zhuǎn)播。
will be covered live將來時的被動語態(tài)。
一般將來時的被動結(jié)構(gòu)是：will be + v. ed.
e.g. the meeting will be held tomorrow.
4. murder in a country house is a horror film directed by cindy clark, a new director.
《鄉(xiāng)村小屋謀殺案》是一位由新導(dǎo)演辛迪·克拉客導(dǎo)演的恐怖片。
directed by…是過去分詞短語做定語，修飾film。
5. this film is excellent and is full of horror and mysteries.這部電影很精彩，而且充滿了恐怖和神秘色彩。
be full of …充滿…，裝滿…；類似的詞組有be filled with共10頁，當(dāng)前第1頁12345678910
e.g. the world is full of colours.

to watch動詞不定式，在句中做定語修飾show。
e.g. tom didn’t know which book to buy.

10. i don’t mind feeling scared.我不在乎恐懼。
mind v.介意，反對，后跟doing sth.多用于句型：
would you mind … / do you mind …?表示征求意見
e.g. do you mind my smoking / do you mind if i smoke?
mind作為名詞，表示“大腦、精神”
e.g. wearing blue is good for the mind and body.
he has made up his mind to be a teacher.

language points:
there are always famous people on these shows talking about their lives. (訪談)節(jié)目里總是有名人談他們的生活。
這是一個there be結(jié)構(gòu)的句子，注意句中的talking,不能用talk原形。
e.g. there is a fire burning in the fireplace.壁爐里爐火正在燃燒。
there is a bird flying in the sky.

a prepositional phrases of time: “between … and … ”and from … to …
表示時間的介詞短語between … and … ; from … to …
between … and …和from … to …都表示一段特定的時間
between … and …表示“在…和…之間”
e.g. between and , tiger watch was taken in india.

the girls like to eat snakes between lunch and supper.
女孩子喜歡在午飯和晚餐之間吃零食。
from … to …表示“從…到…”

b talking about when things happen with ‘before’, ‘a(chǎn)fter’, and ‘until’.用‘before’, ‘a(chǎn)fter’, ‘until’來表示事情發(fā)生的時間。共10頁，當(dāng)前第2頁12345678910
before, after, until都可以用作時間連詞，我們可以用它們來引導(dǎo)一個時間狀語從句，這些連詞可以放在句首，也可以放在句中。放在句首時，要用逗號和主句分開。
before “比……早一點(diǎn)的時候”，“在……之前”；
after “比……遲一點(diǎn)的時候”，“在……之后”。
e.g. before the awards start, we will interview some of the most famous stars.頒獎活動開始之前，我們將采訪幾位著名的歌星。
simon went to play basketball after he finished his homework.
until “直到……的時候”。
e.g. let’s wait until the train stops.讓我們等火車停下來吧。
until可以和till互換，但till一般只位于句中，不能位于句首。
e.g. i won’t go to bed until / till those two programmers finish.
not …until…直到…才…
e.g. you won’t find out the answer until the end of the film.
你要到電影結(jié)束才能發(fā)現(xiàn)答案。

※當(dāng)連接同時發(fā)生的兩個長動作時，常用while。
e.g. while millie was watching tv, eddie was sleeping.
※當(dāng)連接同時發(fā)生的一長一短兩個動作時，用while或as引導(dǎo)時間較長的動作。這個長動作在時間較短的動作發(fā)生之前就已開始。
e.g. while eddie was sleeping, hobo went to watch tv.
as mother was cooking, mary went back.
※當(dāng)連接同時發(fā)生的兩個短動作時，常用as。
e.g. as you see him, give him this letter.
※注意：while和as引導(dǎo)的狀語從句在時態(tài)上必須和主句保持一致。
d comparatives and superlatives (of adverbs)副詞的比較級和最高級
副詞的比較級和最高級與形容詞的比較級及最高級的構(gòu)成方法相同，即單音節(jié)和部分雙音節(jié)副詞在詞尾加“er”、加“est”構(gòu)成比較級和最高級；多音節(jié)副詞在副詞之前加more和most構(gòu)成比較級和最高級；以后綴ly結(jié)尾的副詞要用more和most。
