As we know, our country suffered heavy ice early 20xx. Everything was covered with freezing rain. Guizhou, Hunan and Sichuan suffered the most.
It caused the buses, trains and planes stop service. The disaster destroyed power facilities, cutting power supplies in many areas. As a result, huge economic loss was caused. Many people could not work and live normally.
There was no food, water or light in some places. Our government called on people to fight against heavy snow. As a student, I think we should learn from those heroes. We must study hard at school. We should learn all kinds of knowledge to make our motherland stronger, better and richer.

At 8:00 I got up and went bus station with my mother .O my god there were so many people! With difficult we got on the bus and felt very crowed. The traffic was so bad too! It cost nearly 1 hour that we arrived the center of street. What were worse there were even more people! In my opinion it was not very interesting to come out at this day! Next time I prefer to stay at home and study!

Twice a week in the afternoons I teach English classes at the Telephone and Telegraph Company＇s Institute in pan-Ciao. I teach telephone operators and office workers of the phone company for three hours each session. Usually we cover the textbook unit in the first two hours, and then the last hour is for free conversation.
In the beginning of the term the students are very shy about talking, but after two weeks they are asking all kinds of questions. During the last hour I sometimes review the students＇ English vocabulary by playing games such as crosswords, opposite and similar words, or singing songs in English or Chinese. To learn a foreign language can be fun.
