藝術(shù)家的行為自由英語(yǔ)作文 1
Creative artists should always be given the freedom to express their own ideas in whichever way they wish. There should be no government restrictions on what they do.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
I agree with the statement that there should be no government restriction on creative artists who express themselves in the way they do and that they must be given freedom for the same. Expression has always been the keynote in a persons life. It is the result of mere expression of our thoughts that we are able to communicate. Restrictions on how we present our thoughts is senseless.
Creative artists play a major role in our society, be it the government, old peolple, the youth or the children. Their works enlighten our minds, no matter if is sactual or entertainment based. It is diserving that after a days work when we want to take some time off for ourselves, we look out for some leisure. For instance: either pleasant music or a family movie which soothes the mind. Entertainment give us an overview of a new side of life which every individual respects. There is almost everything good in what is given to us through the media world which is made up of artists.
On the contrary sometimes these artists tend to be unscrupuous. They convert rumours into facts and present them before us. This might impair the reputation of some illustrious people in todays society. On such occasions, certain restrictions are understandable. Nevertheless we all do know what is right or wrong. Rules and regulations not always are the solution to how artists present their own ideas. Hence it is doltish to be impetuous and the government should enforce alternative ways to control the media.

Many traditional arts are losing nowadays, because some of them have been replaced by the new machines and the scientific products.
I feel so sorry about the losing arts, in my opinion, they are so classic and their charm will never fade away. Take my grandma for example. She is good at paper-cut which was inherited from her mother. But when comes to my mother’s generation, paper-cut seems to be kicked out, there are less people need it, so my mother doesn’t learn this skill. The paper-cut art is losing in my family. When I found my grandma had this skill, I was so surprised and curious about it. I asked my grandma to teach me this skill. During the process, I found this art was so great, I was attracted by it.
Some traditional arts like paper-cup should be kept.
藝術(shù)家的行為自由英語(yǔ)作文 5
Since I was very small, my parents sent me to learn painting. They thought I could understand art and mastered one skill. This experience brings me the sense of art. I have my own understanding of it.
On the one hand, art is an important way to express peoples opinion. When we see the pictures, the difference between classical and ordinary paintings lies in the thoughts. The famous artists implant their ideas in the pictures, which are admitted by the public, so the value of arts can be seen. Some famous artists expressed their unique opinion and gives arts great meaning.
On the other hand, art is not only from works, but also from life. For example, my mother cooks the delicious food. Everybody speaks highly of her. So her food brings people great happiness, which makes the food an art for me. Whats more, my friends is good at communicating. The way she talks can convince other easily, so I call the way she communicates as an art.
In all, for me, art is around. It brings people a way to see the world or makes our life wonderful.

Topic: Traditional arts civilized a nation. Do you think the government should subsidize musicians, artists, or drama companies? What should government do ?
Nowadays there is a growing tendency that some traditional arts are disappearing far away from modern society. Some people think the government should subsidize musicians, artists, actors or theatrical companies. From my point of view ,the government have a responsibilities to protect traditional arts, but there might be better ways than only give money to traditional artists.
It is obvious that traditional arts are the essential part of national cultural. A study of traditional arts might be a good way to learn about cultural and it can civilized a nation. It reflects not only the political values of people, but also their religious beliefs, emotions and daily activities .China have a long history and various kinds of traditional arts, such as painting, calligraphy, architecture and Beijing opera, which offer a chances to people to enjoy civilized pleasure. However ,traditional arts are leaving contemporary people further and further away, which due to many reasons. Such as lack funds and professional guide, the impact from western cultures.
How should government do to maintain and develop traditional arts? Firstly, the government should pay a fund for research and promotion of traditional arts. Secondly, the traditional arts can be taught in the school as alternative courses, which can cultivate a childs interest in traditional arts. Last ,but not least, the government should sponsor the concerts and exhibitions about traditional arts as frequently as possible, which can give people more opportunities to get touch with traditional arts. Not all of us can be artists, but most of us can appreciate it, and the traditional arts can be developed if more people appreciate it.

China has the history of more than 5,000 years. Many foreign people areattracted by this big old country.
They come here and want to know about thetraditional culture. However, Chinese young people dont show much interest inthe old culture, instead they chase the fashion and some even abandon theprecious culture. For example, paper cutting, one of the excellent arts that isinherited by our ancestors. Many foreign media speak highly of this greathandicraft and they are astonished by the wisdom of Chinese people. I have seenthis art when I stay in my hometown. Only few old people can do it.
They justtake it for killing time. Paper cutting is like the old fashion and is forgottenby the young generation. The media should report more positive information aboutthe traditional culture to inspire the young people to learn.

The passage mainly tells us the importance of protecting traditional Chinese culture, which is challenged or facing extinction because of the developing society and changing lifestyle. Besides, China is nationwide sparing no efforts to do it.
The protection of national and folk culture is of great significance to Chinese cultural diversity and also to the harmonious development between local economic and social development. It is reported that the Guangdong government pays special attention to protecting Chaoju,a local drama born in Chaozhou in the eastern Guangdong province.
In my opinion, some measures should be taken to protect traditional culture effectively. To start with, we should make a law to regulate the society’s performance. Besides, we should draw more people’s attention to it, for the more they know about the importance of culture protection, the stronger the support we can get from the public.
In a word, it is high time for us to treasure and develop our own valuable culture.

what the opinion of artists
In the present words, science has been developing fast, but people still have a high opinion of artists. What can the arts tell us of the life that science cannot ? Arts is the making and expressions of what are beautiful and pleasure in human lives..People have paid no less attention to arts than they have paid to science since the beginning of human civilization. Why is arts so important ?
The main reason is that compared with natural sciences, arts (humanities and fine arts)serves rudder. First of all, arts plays a essential role in moulding magnificent qualities of people.A majority of works and writings not only expressed the impressive feelings in the world, which were sentimental and natural, but also gave us many ideas about love, faith and charity. In fact, these ideas have withstood the test of time. They represent the accumulated wisdom of our ancestors down through the ages.People, who equipped with these theories, can make sound judgements about any problems which may crop up.
Secondly, arts is the source of happiness in our lives. For instance,a classic light opera can give delight to millions of people.and moreover, some painting masterpieces are exactly a great satisfactions .
Especially, some excellent literature works enrich our lives and make us feel that we are part of the great family of mankind. Therefore,it is nothing but the arts that brings optimistic mental conditions to us.
In addition arts subjects are good for boosting children’s mental development.Recently,a American study shows that Mozart’s works can help children to improve their graphic cognition.Hence arts education is not only of benefit to moulding people’s quality, but also to discovering people’s potential. All in all ,the arts’ contribution to our lives can not be replaced by science although both arts and science push the boundaries of human cognition.

My Thoughts on the University Arts Festival For our universitys arts festival, I think that the university should hold open competitions and auditions for anyone who wants to take part in the festivals exhibitions and performances. This would not only increase general interest in and appreciation for the arts, but would also be a good way for our university to show its support for the arts.
This arts festival is an excellent opportunity to remind everyone that arts are important for everyone to appreciate and take part in, regardless of major.
I think that there should be general, open auditions and competitions in all the major arts. There should be categories for painting and sculpture; classical, folk and modem dance; and instrumental and choral groups, both large and small. The judges should be joint committees made up of both faculty and Students, both experts in the field and novices. Arranging the festival in this way will, I believe, give our student body a greater enjoyment of the arts, a break from studies and a fuller appreciation for what it means to be human.
