　　水是生命之本，任何生物都離不開水，但是地球上的水資源正在不斷枯竭中課文中的賽特凱達斯大瀑布就是一個典型的事例。許多人都覺得地球上的水還很多，多用一些沒關系，這樣的想法就大錯特錯了。如果全世界人都這樣想，必將加速地球上水資源的枯竭，而且地球上大多是海水，淡水植占極小的一部分，后果不堪設想，所以我們要節(jié)約用水珍惜資源。

　　Water is the foundation of life. No living thing can live without water, but the water resources on the earth are drying up. In the text, setkedas waterfall is a typical example. Many people think that there is still a lot of water on the earth. It doesn't matter to use more water. That's a big mistake. If people all over the world think like this, it will accelerate the depletion of water resources on the earth. 　　雖然世界上已有許多人呼吁我們要節(jié)約用水，并行動起來。但是浪費水的問題依然十分普遍。就拿我們身邊的小事來說，在衛(wèi)生間里空無一人而水龍頭卻嘩嘩流個不停的事已屢見不鮮，我們有的人平時不節(jié)約用水，用完的水就倒掉了，再用時就繼續(xù)接，浪費了許多水，不知道循環(huán)使用。更有甚者，有些小朋友接了水潑著玩或用“尖叫”飲料瓶擠著玩，那么清澈的水資源在幾秒鐘就化為烏有了，難道他們不知道我們沒有了誰會怎樣嗎？

　　Although many people in the world have called on us to save water and act. But the problem of wasting water is still very common. Take the small things around us for example. It's not uncommon that there is no one in the bathroom and the faucet is splashing. Some of us don't save water at ordinary times, and the used water is poured out. When we use it, we continue to receive it. We waste a lot of water and don't know how to recycle it. What's more, some children pick up the water and splash it or squeeze it with "scream" bottles. Then the clear water resources will disappear in a few seconds. Don't they know who we are without?

　　對于這些浪費水的現象和更多的一些存在的問題，我們要注意并改正。平時在用水時水不要開太大，用完水要擰緊水龍頭，還要制止別人浪費水的問題。我們要互相監(jiān)督，珍惜水資源！讓我們的地球更加美好！

　　We should pay attention to and correct these water wasting phenomena and more existing problems. Don't open too much water when using water at ordinary times. When using water, tighten the tap and stop others wasting water. We should supervise each other and cherish water resources! Let's make our earth better!
